Hi, I’m Donald Ray Watkins Jr & I am a sports & portrait photographer based in North Carolina. In 2013, I received my first DSLR camera for Christmas and went back to college at Virginia State University ready to turn my passion into a career. In 2014, I started working for the VSU college newspaper where I quickly became the schools paper led photography. I took photos for my family, the school paper, campus concerts, graduation photos & more.
Shortly after graduation, I was hired by Shaw University as a sports photographer which led to working with the CIAA further spurring his love for both Sports & photography.
Some of the schools and companies I’ve worked for are Shaw University, Fayetteville State, Elizabeth City State University, CIAA Conference as well as a host of other schools and events.
